Wandering around the local market, in search for vegetables, sweets, and local food ideas for dinner which we cooked in our flat in Praia.
Asomada is a town in the highlands which has a history of people settling there as they ran away from being sold as slaves during the Enslavement era of Cabo Verde.
The town was youthful, lively, happy and colourful! I really liked that area and wish to explore and experience it better.
