MYANMAR: Paradise Inle Resort. "Romantic Floating Hotel"

During my visit to Myanmar, I stayed at the Paradise Inle resort with my wonderful Burmese friend who lives in Yangon. It was a floating resort in the Inle Lake,  which is accessed by boat . It was a nice place to relax and to feel a sense of calmness together.
The surroundings of the resort were idyllic, with mountains, local boaters using traditional boats.
Our cottage was made entirely of woven bamboo , the water from the lake could be seen between the bamboo poles making up the floor!) - the bathroom was equipped with modern fixtures, hot water, and the bed was made of bamboo. My randy, horny Burmese friend probably made the bed more squeaker than usual as we shared the bed those two nights. Good thing there was a sufficient space between our cottage and the  others! He was definitely NOT  your usual quiet, shy with a  soft demeanor, especially at night! Even though the shower was modern, we showered together as we wanted to conserve water.
At times during the day the electric would go out but it was not a problem. Simply open the windows and the breeze from the lake was better than air conditioning!
The resort had a nice bar and a  restaurant serving local food as well as Chinese and some Western. One can stroll around the deck and wander around the sitting area.  Overall our experience was "Good value for money"! ( even though I had to pay in dollars)
