Kharanaq - deserted mud-brick village This means , "Place of the birth of the Sun". Although this place is in the middle of the hot desert the temperature is cool and the area is green! The village was an adobe built place where people lived for centuries but it is now a place for wandering around. I imagine this a fun place at night to spook around during halloween with funny friends!
This castle was built over 7000 years ago. It is amazing that some bits of it still stands.
